An exploration of visual memory, symbols and the language of expression, drawing from the creative ethos of Raw Mango. The artwork explores collective memory and the role it plays in the human experience through the use of symbols and other often surrealist and fantasy-like imagery seen in everyday Indian Design and Architecture.
Revant Dasgupta is an Illustrator and Multimedia Artist based in Mumbai. His work explores symbols and social hierarchies, drawing influence from his experiences in Kolkata, the city he grew up in. He works with a variety of mediums including paintings, self-published zines, comics, digital illustration and sound art.
